During their recent exhibition at the Schaefer Gallery, collaborative photographers Lacy Criswell and Amanda Hankerson gave an artist talk. The conversation offered current students insight into the duo’s photographic experience on location, as well as the process of making and editing a body of work. Gallery Assistant, Blong Lor captured the excitement and enthusiasm of the event. The exhibition was co-curated by Linnea Wren, Professor of Art History at Gustavus Adolphus College, Kaylee Spencer, Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and Travis Nygard, Assitant Professor of Art at Ripon College. The exhbition was also supported by the Ethel and Edgar F. Johnson Endowment for the Arts, the Thomas and Patricia Trunnell Endowment in Art History, and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at Gustavus Adolphus College.
